Information processed and stored

Geometry Tools Lab processes the measurements, angles, polygon vertices, and coordinates you enter to calculate results and display diagrams and formulas. Coordinates are mathematical inputs; the app does not access your device location.

The app stores the following information locally:

• Your current calculation draft, including the selected tool, calculation mode, unit, and entered values. Drafts are saved automatically as you edit calculation inputs.
• Calculations you choose to save, including their names, inputs, tool, mode, unit, save timestamp, favorite status, and selected solution where applicable.
• Your preferences for measurement units, decimal precision, and angle display.

Notebook searches run locally. The current implementation does not persist search queries.

Android stores this information in the app's private SharedPreferences storage. The browser preview stores the equivalent information in browser local storage.

Collection and purposes

Calculations are performed on your device. The current app does not send your calculation inputs, notebook entries, preferences, or searches to the developer or an app-operated server. No account or sign-in is required.

The app uses locally stored information to restore your draft, display and search your notebook, reuse saved inputs, mark favorites, and apply your display preferences. It does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, photos, or device location.

Sharing, advertising, and third-party software

The inspected implementation contains no advertising, analytics, tracking, or crash-reporting SDKs, and no functionality that sells or shares your calculation data with advertisers or other businesses. It uses Android and Compose software libraries to provide the interface and local app functions.

The app does not implement data transmission to a developer server, so there is no app-server connection for which encryption in transit can be described. System backup protections depend on your device and backup provider. No storage or security method can guarantee complete protection.

Retention and deletion

Saved calculations remain in local storage until you delete them or clear the app's data. You can delete individual entries from History or use Clear history or Clear saved history to remove the entire notebook. Clearing history keeps your current draft and preferences.

The current draft remains available until it is replaced by a later draft or the app's local data is cleared. Preferences remain until changed or cleared. The app does not apply an automatic retention period.

To remove all locally stored app information on Android, use your device's app settings to clear the app's storage. Uninstalling generally removes the installed app's local data, although system backups may remain or restore data later. Manage backup copies through the relevant device or backup-provider controls. For the browser preview, clear the site's browser data to remove its local storage.

Information you send by email

If you contact the developer by email, your message and sender address are provided through the email services involved so the developer can respond. Avoid sending calculation data or other personal information unless needed for your request. Children's privacy

Geometry Tools Lab provides educational geometry tools. Its intended age groups have not been established in the supplied app information. The current app does not include accounts, advertising, tracking, or features that transmit children's information to the developer.
